An old standing stone greets it first dawn in its new home

Traveling from Dodge City Kansas to its new home in Southern Colorado the first stone of the ancient observatory seeing its first Colorado sunrise.  This stone is at the center of the solar observatory, used for sighting the seasons as they change.  Long ago stones were carved or cut by hand for use such as fence posts, look closely at this center stone when you visit the park, it too was cut and shaped by hand.
